Your details. Your choice.
A little clarity.
This notice explains how we handle your voluntary interest in Traina and your email choices. You can withdraw your permission at any time.
Dated 20 October 2026. This notice covers the standalone Traina interest waitlist. Joining creates no Traina account, booking, payment or venue relationship.
Who is responsible?
Ismail Nabil, operating individually under the name Traina before incorporation, is the data controller for this waitlist.
Contact privacy@traina.shop for personal data requests and complaints, or support@traina.shop for help. These mailboxes are monitored by the founder, with backup coverage.
What you choose to share
Your email and selected audience — Client, Trainer or Gym Owner — plus an optional first name, town or area, and business or gym name. Please do not send health details, passwords, identity documents or payment information. Hosting providers also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website.
Your permission
We use consent to send Traina launch news and occasional relevant updates for your selected audience. The email permission box is unchecked until you choose it. You can withdraw at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. There is no confirmation or welcome email at signup. Single opt-in does not verify who controls the mailbox.
Resend processes signup requests asynchronously. A request receipt does not confirm registration; an existing contact is skipped without changing its preferences or details. To add another audience, contact verified support or use an authentic recipient preference link when one is available. An additional interest does not override global withdrawal or suppression.
Resend contact properties record the consent wording and version, server receipt time, signup method and selected audience. These editable properties record a submitted request; they are not an immutable ledger or proof that the mailbox owner consented. We retain only necessary evidence to explain our handling of your choices and meet our legal obligations.
Your controls
Email the privacy mailbox from the relevant address and tell us what you need. We confirm mailbox control and your specific request before sharing or changing personal details. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive information in your first message. You do not need a marketing email or a Traina account. We act on marketing withdrawal promptly; an email already in flight may still arrive.
We process rights requests and necessary records of consent and withdrawal to comply with data protection and electronic marketing law. We use limited security information for our legitimate interest in protecting this site and preventing abuse. This does not give us permission to send marketing after withdrawal.
Where details go
Resend provides the subscriber store; Vercel hosts this separate website. Our existing Google/Gmail mail service handles privacy and support correspondence. Subscriber details are not offered for sale.
Resend stores data in the United States. Vercel may process website requests in the United States and other countries where it and its subprocessors operate. A build or sending region does not establish every storage or processing location. Our providers' applicable data-processing agreements include safeguards for transfers outside the UK, including UK international transfer terms where required. You can ask privacy@traina.shop for details about safeguards and how to obtain a copy.
Retention and suppression
We manually review waitlist details 12 months from the earliest reliable original signup date, and remove details no longer needed. Duplicate submissions and routine messages do not restart that clock. If the original date is unknown, we review conservatively rather than invent a new date. This is a review point, not automatic deletion or renewed permission. Withdrawal and rights requests can be made at any time.
We keep rights correspondence and consent evidence only as needed to complete requests and meet legal obligations, reviewing continued need at closure and at the annual review. Minimal do-not-contact information may remain for as long as needed to prevent unwanted marketing. It is used for suppression, not marketing.
Before deleting unnecessary contact details, we pause intake and reconcile outstanding imports so that a queued request does not recreate them. Unknown outcomes keep intake paused. We then check absence and suppression. Contact deletion does not by itself erase provider import files, logs or backups. Provider retention and legal exceptions may apply; we will explain any relevant limits rather than promise immediate erasure everywhere.
Logs and security
This site adds no analytics, advertising tags or automatic email sends. Hosting and provider operational records may still contain personal information. We restrict access, minimise records and avoid application logging of signup bodies, email addresses, credentials and provider responses. Resend and our other providers may retain uploaded contact-import files, related error records, operational logs and backups under their own schedules or legal requirements. We do not have a confirmed expiry for every type of record; deleting a waitlist contact does not necessarily erase these copies immediately. We will explain what we can verify when handling a privacy request.
Questions, rights and complaints
You may ask for access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent, and, where applicable, request restriction or portability or object to processing. We normally respond to rights requests within one calendar month, explaining any lawful extension or further identity check. Providing signup details is voluntary, but we need an email, audience and permission to process a signup.
Send complaints to the privacy mailbox. We acknowledge data protection complaints within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
